Based in Antwerp, Denitsa Todorova (°1984, BR/BE) builds an oeuvre consisting mainly of creations of graphite on paper. In her recent works, the artist presents a new vision of the medium of drawing. Using her own intensive working method, she creates a mystical atmosphere and a personal visual language. With her graphic work she responds to the mental space around us, not the physical space. "My work is about emotions, visual poetry and metaphysical ideas. I want to allow the viewer into another dimension where they get lost in their thoughts and forget the everyday."
